GeM is a short form of Government e-Marketplace hosted by DGS&D where common user  goods and services can be procured. GeM is dynamic, self-sustaining and user friendly portal for making procurement by Government officers. Public procurement forms a very important part of Government activity and reform in Public Procurement is one of the top priorities of the present Government. 

This is a platform for dedicated e-market for different goods & services procured by Government Organizations / Departments / PSUs to a digital ecommerce portal for procurement and selling of goods and services.

List of Common Documents required for Registration / Bidding / Product-Service Listing on GeM:-

1)      Authorized Person PAN CARD
2)      Authorized Person Aadhar CARD
3)      Registered Mail ID (For all Notification of upcoming tenders)
4)      Registered Mobile Number which is linked with Aadhar Card (For OTP purposes & to receive Notifications)
5)      Company/Organization Full ITR Form (Last 3 Years) (It’s mandatory For More than 1 Year Old Company)
6)      Products / Service Brochures & Images or Details or Company Information
7)      Company PAN Card Copy (Applicable only for PVT / PUBLIC / LTD Companies)
8)      GST Certificate Copy
9)      For OEM Panel Vendor Assessment Exemption (NSIC/ BIS/ CITRA/ UCC/ DRDO Certificate is required)
10)    For Resellers- Authorization Letter from OEM (Authorization No, Authorization Agency, Auth. Date, Validity from and to)
11)    Trademark Certificate(TM), Test Certificates if required (*in the case OEM has already applied for Trademark, required an undertaking in order to obtain Brand Approval)
12)    DIPP Certificate (Applicable only if company is registered in STARTUP INDIA)
13)    Work Orders Copies of your products / services if any
14)    MSME Certificate (Udyam Registration)
15)    Certificate of Incorporation Copy (Applicable only for PVT / PUBLIC / LTD Companies)
16)   All Certificates related to the Products/ Services if any (ISO, CE, SITRA, QCS-EN etc..)
17)  LIN Declaration in Case of Service listing
18)   Make in India (MII) declaration regarding Products/ Services
19)   For Product Upload / Listing:  Below Product specification required: -
         - 3 Different Angle view Images of Product (Front / Back / Side)
            - MRP Declaration Document (Incl. product category or model number mentioned)
            - Offer Price (incl. GST and delivery)
            - Delivery Location (All India / State wise)
            - Current Available Stock & Mini. Qty offered (Quantities)
Note: **This is common suggested documents list. It may changes as per bid documents.

Important Terms & Instructions:
* GEM caution money account charges, Vendor Assessment charges, AMC/TC charges to accept the order above 20 Lac and other future charges taken by GeM is not included in our given consultancy fees.  
* For Q2 Quadrant Products Category Reseller must have valid authorization code from their respective OEM & Authorization letter. 
* Registered TM or Notarized TM Undertaking is required from OEM/Seller in Product with Brand Listing. 
* Products / Services can only be listed on GeM if the category of products/services are available on GeM, In-case if category is not available then user need to inform the buyer to send request to GeM to add particular product / service category.
